28 June 2019, 09:30 – 15:00
Nottingham Trent University, City Campus
This is a past event.
The great challenge for Higher Education – the one that matters – is ensuring that all students succeed, regardless of their background.
Strategic, widespread use of active collaborative learning does just this. We have found that it reduces, and in some cases, removes gaps in student engagement, attainment and non-continuation, and gives results from the first year of adoption.
Join us for this event where our OfS-funded project will report its findings, reflect on the lessons learnt and share its blueprint model, so others can integrate active, collaborative learning at scale and achieve similar results.
This conference is for anyone with an interest in innovative methods of learning and teaching in Higher and Further Education and how redesigning the curriculum can benefit student success. Sessions will feature parallel discussions and workshops focused on the conference theme. There will also be opportunities to network with institutional support services and other organisations who ensure the learning environment supports the use of these pedagogies.
We look forward to seeing you at this event.
